MICHIGAN COST OF QUALITY STUDY
BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW
P5 Fiscal Strategies is leading a comprehensive fiscal analysis for Michigan's prenatal to five system. A key part of this analysis is a child care cost of quality study which will include development of a cost estimation model. This model will help policymakers, advocates and all stakeholders better understand the true cost of providing high-quality child care across Michigan. Ultimately this model could be used by the state to inform subsidy rate setting.
