MONTANA
Comprehensive Fiscal Analysis
Overview
Prenatal to Five Fiscal Strategies is conducting a comprehensive fiscal analysis for the state of Montana. This project, conducted in partnership with Zero to Five Montana, and the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS), takes a collaborative approach to develop a reimagined prenatal to five system in the state. The information gathered through this process will inform strategies for system improvement and generate a deeper understanding of the investment needed to support prenatal to five services and systems in Montana.

Fiscal Vision and Principles
A key part of the CFA process is developing a fiscal vision and set of principles to guide the process. During the early phases of the project, P5FS worked closely with the CFA workgroup to develop these principles with specific consideration to the Montana context. Alongside the vision and principles a set of definitions were developed to support shared understanding. To access the vision, principles and shared definitions, click the button below.
Get Involved
The comprehensive fiscal analysis process relies on engagement with a broad group of constituents across the state. There are multiple ways to participate in the process, including through the CFA workgroup, ad-hoc workgroups focused on distinct elements of the system, and a broader constituent engagement group.
